European Board Examination in Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism (EBEEDM)

The European Board Examination in Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism (EBEEDM) is designed to assess a candidate’s knowledge and understanding of the clinical sciences relevant to specialist medical practice, and of common or important disorders to a level appropriate for a newly appointed specialist in endocrinology and diabetes.

The next examination will take place on 6 June 2018.

Applications for the 2018 examination will be accepted between 14 February 2018 and 14 March 2018.

The fee is €750.

How to apply

The European Board Examination is a computer-based examination and is administered by Pearson VUE.

The European Board Examination is open to candidates from all countries throughout the world but it is only possible to sit the examination in Pearson VUE centres in countries affiliated to the European Society of Endocrinology or UEMS affiliated countries.

The application process is:

  1. complete an online application via this website
  2. request test country and city
  3. pay applicable fee
  4. application is confirmed by email within 4 weeks of the closing date.

Special Examination Arrangements
